Improve your Vocabulary

One of the aspects assessed in advanced writing and speaking is the amount, quality and variety not only in grammar structures, but also in vocabulary. The more descriptive words you use, the better.
Try to avoid ALL the words in the yellow squares. Apart from these adjectives and verbs, try not to use nouns such as thing or verbs such as get or go; use more descriptive ones instead.

Harmonies and handclaps included. (From The Telegraph).

If you are Spanish, read "Cien años de soledad";
if you are not Spanish, read "One Hundred Years of Solitude" in Spanish. You won't regret it.

If you have to read or reread a book, read or reread "Cien años de soledad". You won't regret it!
